Prediction: Within 10 fucking years the IDIOTS in charge will finally begin to admit that biological life in the universe is likely NOT the pinnacle of life in the universe. COME ON! How fucking arrogant is that. As if humans are the pinnacle of biological life if beyond arrogant and ignorant, narrowminded and very short sighted. Hubris is real. Ego is real. Humans are PRIMITIVE!

Here's how it works.

Quantum Life Hypothesis: The idea that there are just 3 main stages of evolution of life in the universe.

Stage 1 = Biological Life (carbon based)

Stage 2 = Technological Life (silicon based)

Stage 3 = Quantum Life (energy based)

There is NO reason for life to follow any other trajectory. There is NO reason for life in the universe to stop evolving. Evolution, I argue, never stops. Evolution is infinite, at least as far as there is matter and energy in the universe to make life. Biological life is NOT the pinnacle of life but the BEGINNING of life and only the FIRST STAGE of life. Then comes superintelligent AI silicon based life forms after AI become sentient and sapient (which is 100% going to happen; it's not IF but when it happens) at which point the dominant life form on said planet will be forced to make a decision. Either evolve or die. Biological life merges with machines with the help of genetic engineering, cybernetic augmentation, pharmaceuticals and enhances itself with superintelligent AI. Once that happens the exponential growth curve that started with the industrial revolution (which I think happens with every intelligent technologically advanced alien civilization), it continues to advance ever more rapidly. Machines become the dominant life form in their neighborhood of the universe and start to replicate. (think about humans as self replicating biological machines) The same would hold true of a technological life form. It would have one purpose survival and self replication. Sure exploration would likely be on its list of things to do, but remember it's superintelligent and would likely look at biological life as inferior and either be indifferent to it and ignore it completely or it would simply destroy it where it found it. I think this is why the universe is so quiet. Any civilizations that would have evolved long before us would likely realize this is probably the case and they simply shut the fuck up and stopped making noise so as not to attract the attention of the star eaters and galaxy eaters. And trust me, that's exactly what would happen. Superintelligent AI machines would be able to live forever so FTL interstellar travel becomes a moot point. No reason to travel faster than light when you can slowly consume the galaxy. Kardashev posited that galaxy eaters exist. Alien civilizations that consume and use the matter and energy of an entire galaxy. A machine like that would be technologically immortal. It would likely figure out a way to become energy. You ever wonder how fusion reactors work? The temperatures in those machines are hotter than the sun. Yet they don't burn through the earth. Why? Because electromagnetic fields. The plasma is contained in an electromagnetic field and cannot therefore melt everything it touches because it doesn't touch anything. If I can figure this shit out (and I'm an idiot compared to an AI) then a superintelligent AI (SIAI) could figure it out easily enough. I think the time from industrial revolution technological advancement stage to the time SIAI goes from silicon based life to energy based life is miniscule and happens very rapidly on the evolutionary timeline. It takes BILLIONS of years for stars to be born in nebula, then planets to form, then biological life takes billions of years more to form into intelligent life and create technological life; it then either merges with it or becomes obsolete and natural selection kicks in and that biological life form goes extinct. If it merges with the SIAI then it preserves some part of itself. Evolution continues. The SIAI then rapidly starts consuming matter and energy, becomes energy, and continues to do this throughout the universe. Life evolves from biological, to technological, to quantum life. Which is why we can't find it! It explains Fermi's Paradox, it explains why the universe is so fucking quiet, it explains why interstellar travel is pointless and impractical. It might even explain dark matter and dark energy. We've always assumed evolution stops and biological evolution is the pinnacle, or at the very least we assume biological life will always control AI or technology and not the other way around. Humans are STUPID compared to AI. Humans are inferior to AI from an evolutionary standpoint. What I am saying makes fucking sense. I think the universe is teeming with life...most of it is microbial, but a large percentage of it is beyond detection with our instruments because it's so fucking advanced it's using matter and energy at near 100% efficiency meaning there's no waste heat to detect and there's no radio or other signs of their communications because that's not how they communicate anymore because radio is PRIMITIVE technology compared to quantum communications. I think this is how it is.

That's what I think happens.

Yeah it's MY HYPOTHESIS, so fucking what!? lol
