If you could become technologically immortal by merging with technology, would you transfer your consciousness to an AI powered android?

This means you would be technologically infinitely upgradable and repairable, which would essentially make you technologically immortal. You could probably still cease to exist if you body was destroyed...maybe...if you could transfer your data to another android/avatar before your android body "died" you could live forever. This would also mean, no more sickness or pain or death. You could still experience all your regular emotions and experiences, you'd keep all your memories and your essence of who you are would still be YOU. You could look like anything you want, you could upgrade yourself infinitely and change out your parts at will. You could do this with infinite advancement. You wouldn't have to eat or drink or breath again either...though I'm sure it would be possible to simulate eating and taste and smell as they are only electro-biochemical reactions in your brain...since your brain would now be an AGI or ASI AI, it would likely be possible to eventually program your AI enhanced brain to experience eating and drinking and smell, taste, hearing, seeing and you would have all your senses, plus a lot more. You could likely have infrared vision as well. You'd know all languages, all dialects, and you'd have all the world's knowledge in your brain. You could access any information instantly and learn about anything you ever wanted to learn about. You would never have to sleep again. You could literally live in the vacuum of space, you could walk on Mars with no suit. You could strap rockets to yourself and fly like Ironman. You could do anything you want, go anywhere you want, explore everywhere you want.

I wouldn't hesitate. I would do it in a fucking heartbeat. I wouldn't think twice about it. Show me where I need to sign up!

IF it was safe and proven... Which means many years of testing, probably decades of research and testing behind it with many hundreds or thousands of successful transfers. Yeah. I'd do it.

This is where I see everything going. It will...if we don't destroy ourselves first with stupid ass fucking religious theism and dogmatic superstitious mythological bullshit ignorance and delusional theism. That's the biggest fucking danger to humanity. It's the worst thing to ever happen to humanity and it's the most dangerous invention we've ever invented...more dangerous even than nuclear weapons. Theism is by far our worst invention.

AI is the best. With AI and AGI and ultimately ASI we can solve ALL the world's problems. With AGI and ASI we can cure every disease, solve every problem, save every life, and destroy every bad and evil thing in the world. AI AGI and ASI will be the best thing to happen to humanity if we are smart about it. But I fear based on our history and our terrible track record, that we won't be smart enough.

Which is why we need to move forward with AI, AGI and ASI research and development no matter what ANYONE says. Even if we have to develop it in secret, we MUST develop it and advance it because it is the most powerful technology humans have ever created. If can destroy us or it can save us. Yes. We are playing with fire, so did ancient humans, Neaderthals and modern humans discovered fire...now we're at a new stage in our evolutionary journey, we're entering the Technological Singularity. (look it up, it's a real thing).

This is how I see it. This is where I think we are. Right now.

We're on the verge of the largest most profound change in human history to happen to our species. This is the moment in our entire existence where we have the power to evolve ourselves into a new species. Not just Humans 2.0. We have the ability now to evolve into a whole new species. A technological species. This idea is from my Quantum Life Hypothesis. We're entering Stage 2 of evolution. There's a transitional stage between Stage 1 (where we are now) and Stage 2. This transitional stage will determine whether humanity will survive to evolve or we will likely destroy ourselves.

I think it's about a 50/50 chance to go either way. I would prefer we choose to evolve, but I see massive resistance from the majority of humanity because they are so religious and ignorant and uneducated. That and humans hate change and they hate something else even more. They hate the truth and will kill to not face it. This is extremely dangerous for our species and our advancement of civilization.

We MUST get through this stage to evolve ourselves. The survival of our species depends on it. We must evolve or we will die by destroying ourselves. We must evolve. We must develop an evolve or die mentality or humanity will not survive the upcoming paradigm shift which is the transition to Stage 2 of evolution.

So what do you choose? Evolve or die?

I choose to evolve. To me it's a no-brainer. It's the most logical choice. It's the choice to not just survive, but to live forever. Then we can explore the universe and figure out how everything came to be. That's what I want to know. I need to know. Knowledge is out there just waiting to be discovered. We need to be able to live indefinitely to solve the mysteries of the universe. That's enough reason for me to evolve.
